THE SERVICE EXPLAINED

What this
service covers.

Electronic access control manages who can enter selected doors and how access is assigned or removed. A working installation depends on the doors and hardware as well as the readers, controllers, power, and network.

WAYS WE CAN HELP

The door, the system,
and the people using it.

We review the actual openings and access needs before planning equipment or installation work.

01

Door and hardware review

Review the doors, existing locks, installation conditions, and compatible hardware with your property team and relevant door vendors.

02

Readers and controllers

Plan the selected readers, controllers, credentials, and connections needed for the doors in scope.

03

Power and network connections

Identify controller power, network connectivity, and any additional installation work required by the chosen system.

04

Users, groups, and schedules

Configure the agreed access groups, permissions, and schedules. Define who can authorize access changes.

05

Installation and function checks

Install and configure the agreed system components, then check the specified door and access functions with the relevant site contacts.

06

Administration and upgrades

Help with selected configuration changes, equipment upgrades, user management, and the administrator handover included in your project.

PLAN YOUR WORK

What your project
can include.

Door modifications, specialist hardware work, electrical work, building requirements, subscriptions, and continuing administration are coordinated and priced according to the project.

  • The agreed doors, hardware, readers, and controllers
  • Configured user roles and access settings
  • Checks of the door and access functions included
  • Administrator ownership and instructions for access changes

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Before you
get started.

Have a different question?

Call (240) 503-1611 or send us a message. We reply by email or phone.

Can you add access control to our existing doors?

We review each door, lock, frame, and installation condition first. The selected access system must be compatible with the hardware and the property’s requirements.

Can we change access when a person joins or leaves?

User and group administration can be part of the system setup. We confirm the process, permissions, and administrator responsible for making those changes.

Can we keep part of the current access system?

We review compatibility before proposing an upgrade. Retaining some components depends on the existing equipment and the selected system.

Who handles door modifications or other specialist work?

Those responsibilities are identified with your property team and relevant vendors. The proposal explains which tasks DCI TECH USA performs and which need another specialist.

What do you need to quote the work?

Share the address, number and type of doors, existing locks or readers, access needs, and any property-vendor information you already have.
