What we collect
When you send a request through our contact or assessment forms, we collect what you type: your name, organization, email address, phone number, site location, the service you are interested in, and the details you describe. If you email or call us, we keep that conversation and your contact details.
Like most websites, our hosting provider also records basic technical information when pages load, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is used to run and secure the site.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to your request, prepare a proposal or support plan, provide services you sign up for, and keep a record of our conversations. We may also use it to improve the website. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.
Where it is stored
Form requests go into our customer relationship system, Zoho CRM, and we answer by email through Microsoft 365. The website itself is hosted by Shopify. These providers store information for us under their own security and privacy terms. If a form cannot be delivered, your own email app opens so you can send the request to us directly.
Cookies and analytics
The website can set a small technical cookie needed for it to work. We may also use Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement to understand how visitors find and use the site and which ads lead to requests. These tools use cookies and similar technology. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
How long we keep it
We keep request and client records for as long as we need them to work with you, meet our legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. Requests that do not lead to work are deleted or anonymized when they are no longer useful.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can ask us to stop contacting you. Email info@dcitech.us with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need to confirm your identity before acting, and we will reply within 45 days. Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you additional rights.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including access controls and the security features of our service providers, to protect the information you share. No website or email system is completely secure, so please do not send passwords or other sensitive credentials through our forms.
Children
This website is meant for businesses and organizations. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
